ChabuLab is Châu Bùi's small studio for software. It makes a few focused products rather than many, and explains them openly on this blog.

## What does ChabuLab make?

- **[Ribbon](https://ribbon.chabulab.com)**, a window manager for macOS that places windows side by side on a horizontal strip you move along with a three-finger swipe. It needs macOS 14 or later and runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It is in development.
- **ChabuLab Tools**, free tools for creators that run entirely in the browser, without uploading anything. Long Mix Builder (long audio mixes with transitions, ambience and loudness matching) and Quick Mosaic (stained-glass and mosaic photo effects) are built; more are planned.

## Which principles guide the work?

- **Your files stay with you.** ChabuLab Tools do their work in your browser and upload nothing.
- **A clean way out.** Quit Ribbon and every window is put back on screen.
