Free tools, games and apps
The ChabuLab Tools, ChabuLab Games and LexiLoop are free to use for personal and commercial work. They are supported by ads. You don't need an account unless you choose one.
Your files and work stay yours
Files you convert or create with our tools belong to you. We don't claim any rights in them, and the tools don't upload them. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you put in.
What belongs to ChabuLab
The products are free to use, not free to copy. The code, design, illustrations, word lists, puzzles, music and text of ChabuLab's products are © ChabuLab unless a page says otherwise. Open-source components keep their own licences, listed in each product. Please don't copy, resell or republish our products or their content, or present them as your own.
Fair use
- Don't use our services to break the law or to harm others.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of our services.
- Don't scrape the services in a way that slows them down for others.
- Don't click ads you aren't interested in, or ask others to; it breaks the ad networks' rules and can cut off the free products.
Paid products
Ribbon for Mac is sold through Lemon Squeezy and Stash templates through Gumroad. Each acts as the seller for the payment, so its checkout terms, taxes and refund process apply to that purchase. A Ribbon licence lets you use Ribbon on the number of Macs stated when you buy it.
No warranty
We test our products carefully and fix problems we learn about, but they are provided “as is”, without any warranty that they are error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of important files before converting or editing them.
Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, ChabuLab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from use of the free products. For a paid product, our total liability is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the products change. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the products after a change means you accept it.
